Approximately 90 bikes were escorted along their, roughly 100 mile scenic journey through Norwest Georgia. After the ride, riders enjoyed hamburgers, hotdogs and cold drinks, which were included in the registration, live music from "the "Casey Adams" band and a bike/car show. Blood Assurance was also on site for a blood drive from noon until 4pm.
Frank Pate Photography was on hand to take and share some really awesome shots from the day, and they themselves were surprised when they were presented with a special presentation of gratitude, and we thank them as well for sharing those beautiful shots with all of us.
Ernie DeLong said; "Several organizations who support veterans causes set up as vendors to provide:"swag" items, information and knowledge and to also share in the camaraderie and esprit-de-corps that only veterans know, sharing stories and carving up twisty mountain roads. It was truly Bikers Helping Bikers and what a show, thundering through the hallowed Chickamauga Battlefield Park, climbing Lookout Mountain and stretching out in a mighty formation of cruisers, baggers, choppers and touring, all who came out and enjoyed the event. For the bystanders who waved as they passed by, it must truly have been a spectacular event for this area to see. See you all next year and many thanks for your continued support. We appreciate ALL that you do!""
