Our September 2011 cover bike is owned by Brian Arroyo. His 2007 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy was selected as the winning bike at our Cover Bike Search at Open Road Bar & Grill in Grandview, Missouri.
Brian is from Kansas City, Missouri, and we had the opportunity to gather more information about him and his 2007 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy for this month's issue. We shot cover model search winner Jennifer on Brian's bike for this month cover.
CC: Brian, what is your occupation?
Brian: I’m a realtor.

CC: Do you have hobbies other than motorcycling?
Brian: Yes, I also like guns, and enjoy hunting, fishing and traveling.

CC: Why do you ride?
Brian: It’s my favorite thing to do, and to relive the stress of my career.

CC: How long have you been riding?
Brian: I’ve been riding about four years.

CC: What was your first bike?
Brian: This is it.

CC: How many bikes have you owned?
Brian: Just this one.

CC: What do you like most about your Fat Boy?
Brian: No one has a bike that looks like it.

CC: What is your dream bike?
Brian: Currently, a FLHX because I think when they are customized, they look bad ass!

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?
Brian: My first poker run in 2007 for Chris Bartholomew, who was a great person that was killed at the age of 21. It was raining all day, and the turnout was incredible. It made me realize how giving and close the biker community is. We raised an incredible amount of money that day!

CC: What is your least memorable riding experience?
Brian: Getting caught out at the Kansas Speedway in a downpour. It was a long ride home.

CC: Which motorcycle rallies and events have you attended, and which is your favorite?
Brian: Sturgis, Bikes Blues & BBQ, and Perry Lake. Sturgis is my favorite so far. The riding and partying is second to none.

CC: What are your favorite bike night locations?
Brian: It was Frankie D’s because of the cold cheap beer and all of the custom bikes. Now I’m still in search of a great bike night.

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?
Brian: In a group. We always end up somewhere fun.

CC: Who are some of your closest riding buddies?
Brian: Binger, Jenkins, P.K., Richard,George, Wild Bill, Denny, and Douglas.

CC: Thanks for the interview Brian, and we look forward to shooting your bike for our September 2011 cover!
