Our November 2010 cover bike is owned by Tim Atkinson from Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Tim's 1989 Custom Harley-Davidson FXR Chopper earned a spot on this month's cover by taking first place at our Cycle Connections Cover Bike Search on Saturday, September 25 at the Grand River Autumn Rally in Urich, Missouri.

During our photo shoot I asked Tim if I could interview him for this month's issue, to which he agreed.
CC: Tim, what is your occupation?
Tim: I do remodeling work.

CC: Do you have hobbies other than motorcycling?
Tim: I also enjoy attending rallies.

CC: Why do you ride?
Tim: I ride mostly for the journey.

CC: How long have you been riding?
Tim: I've been riding about 27 years.

CC: What was your first bike?
Tim: It was a Harley-Davidson Sportster.

CC: How many bikes have you owned?
Tim: Five.

CC: How many bikes do you currently own?
Tim: Two. My FXR and a 2005 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide.

CC: What do you like most about your FXR?
Tim: It's fun to ride and draws a lot of attention.

CC: What is your dream bike?
Tim: I'd really like to have a Knucklehead some day because it's a Harley-Davidson original.

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?
Tim: Riding through the Black Hills in South Dakota, because there's always something new to see.

CC: Do you have a least memorable riding experience?
Tim: Not that I reacall.

CC: To what motorcycle clubs or organizations do you belong?
Tim: I belong to the Harley Owners Group.

CC: What motorcycle rallies and events have you attended?
Tim: Several Missouri rallies, such as the Grand River Autumn Rally, as well as Sturgis, Bikes Blues & BBQ in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Choppers for Children. My favorite is Sturgis because there's always something new to see.

CC: Which is your favorite bike night location?
Tim: I don't really have one.

CC: Do you have any tattoos?
Tim: Yes, I have three on my arms, and my favorite is an eagle with a banner that has the names of my three kids on it.

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?
Tim: Riding in a group of no more than ten is perfect for me. If you get more riders than that, it becomes slinky.

CC: Who are some of your closest riding buddies?
Tim: I have a lot; however, I don't like to single people out.

CC: Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
Tim:: Yes, just get out and enjoy the world. You will meet good people and make sure to keep the shiny side up!

CC: Thanks for the interview Tim, and thanks for letting us shoot your chopper for this month's cover.
