Our September 2010 cover bike is owned by Jimmy Fletcher from Grandview, Missouri. Jimmy's 2005 Custom Harley-Davidson Sportster earned this month's cover by taking first place at our Cycle Connections Cover Bike Search on Saturday, June 19, at the Grand River Summer Rally in Urich, Missouri.

During our photo shoot I asked Jimmy if I could interview him for this month's issue, to which he agreed.
CC: Jimmy, what is your occupation?
Jimmy: I own my own HVAC company.

CC: Do you have hobbies other than motorcycling?
Jimmy: Yes, I also enjoy fishing.

CC: Why do you ride?
Jimmy: Because of the people I know, who also ride.

CC: How long have you been riding?
Jimmy: I've been riding for 35 years or so.

CC: What was your first bike?
Jimmy: It was a Schwinn. LOL

CC: How many bikes have you owned?
Jimmy: I've had seven or eight motorcycles.
CC: How many bikes do you currently own?
Jimmy: I have two. My Sporty and a Honda 750 chopper with a Plunger frame and Durfee girder.

CC: What do you like most about your Sportster?
Jimmy: This was the last full bike painted by the late Jhon Kessinger, which to me, makes it priceless.

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?
Jimmy: Riding to Daytona and Little Sturgis, Kentucky, because my brother Vern Garrison was with me to enjoy it.

CC: Do you have a least memorable riding experience?
Jimmy: Almost hitting a deer.

CC: What motorcycle rallies and events have you attended?
Jimmy: Daytona, Little Sturgis, and every rally I can make it to.

CC: Do you have any tattoos.
Jimmy: Yes, I have one on my left arm from my Army Airborne days, which says 'Death is Certain, Life is Not.'

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?
Jimmy: Both. I like to ride with my friends, and I also like to ride alone to think.

CC: Who are some of your closest riding buddies?
Jimmy: Oh God…I have so many I can't name them all, but they know who they are.

CC: Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
Jimmy:: Just get out and ride, but ride as safe as you can.

CC: Thanks for the interview Jimmy, and congratulations again on winning our September 2010 cover bike search!
