Ursula continues to travel the country, but has set down roots in Florida, having purchased a home in May. She has added “motivational speaker” to her resume, having been asked by the doctor who performed her early surgeries to speak to his colleagues about her experience.
While she still suffers from bouts of PTSD and probably will the rest of her life, Ursula remains dedicated to helping others, being an advocate for fellow amputees and inspires everyone she meets.

Diane Gracely: Her accident with a drunk driver two years ago did a lot of damage to her already fragile body. Diane has suffered with Charcot Marie Tooth disease since she was a child. Numerous surgeries have done little to relieve the pain and she became reliant on prescription pain meds. This hasn’t stopped Diane’s resolve, however.
Even before Florida passed its medical marijuana bill, Diane was a relentless advocate for Cannabis based pain management, having appeared several times on local news channels and in online interviews talking about her struggles with CMT and prescription pain killers. Now she is doing what she can to raise awareness and hasten Florida’s medical marijuana implementation.
