Our May 2017 cover bike is owned by Eddie Homfeld, and we enjoyed shooting his 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide "Mistress" for this month’s cover. Eddie is from Grain Valley, Missouri, and we had the opportunity to gather additional information about him and his “Mistress.” We also enjoyed shooting cover model Rachael on Eddie’s bike for this month’s cover. I’m sure you’ll also enjoy this month’s behind the scenes photos and video!

CC: Eddie, what is your occupation?
Eddie: I’m in the transportation business.

CC: How long have you been riding?
Eddie: I grew up riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. In 2002 I got a 650 Suzuki, in 2006 I got my first Harley, and I’ve had one, and sometimes two ever since. but I consider myself a newbie since I haven’t ridden in 20+ years.

CC: What was your first bike?
Eddie: It was a Suzuki 650.

CC: How many bikes have you owned?
Eddie: I’ve owned five motorcycles.

CC: How many bikes do you currently own?
Eddie: I have two. My 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide "Mistress" and a 2008 Harley-Davidson Street Glide.

CC: What do you like most about “Mistress”?
Eddie: That I built it exactly how I wanted it.

CC: What is your dream bike?
Eddie: The “Mistress” is my dream bike. It took me two years to build her with a lot of help from my friends and family.

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?
Eddie: A trip to Tennessee. It was me and the boys, and we had no plan; just ride!

CC: What is your least memorable riding experience?
Eddie: None. Every time I ride is a great experience.

CC: Which motorcycle rallies & events have you attended, and which is your favorite?
Eddie: Daytona, ROT, Bikes, Blues & BBQ, Sturgis, and the Lone Star Rally.

CC: Do you have a favorite bike night hangout?
Eddie: Anywhere my friends want to go.

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?
Eddie: I prefer riding in a group.

CC: Thanks for the interview Eddie, and thank you for letting us shoot your bike for this month’s cover.
