This year's ride started at the "Bent Horn Saloon in Pinson as the old gathering location, the Thunder Inn, which had been the gathering location for this and many other events for as long as we can remember, had been closed, so a new spot for everyone to start the ride from was born.

It was expressed that a lot of the folks making this ride would like to have a beer to drink prior to hitting the road, so the new location was offered up.

This year was missing a few key ingredients, as some folks had prior engagements or health issues to deal with, but the Love of "Dog" and the missing him, thinking of him or honoring his memory was not lost on those missing few.

After a little while of "meet & greet", they all saddled up to head out for a safe journey over to the cemetery to reminisce and share a beer and wonderful stories of Larry "Mad Dog" Rogers, then it was time to break out the real stuff and have a shot and toast to the man who touched so many lives; the traditional shot was also shared with "Dog".

There are only an elite few that still have and wear their “Staff” shirts, that those who assisted in the benefit/fundraiser event held for Mad Dog prior to his passing were given to wear at the event. That turned out to be a bigger success than any other fundraiser effort we've ever seen. It had the participation of ALL the Harley shops in the country, they each donated a shirt to be auctioned off, it was simply amazing and a true testament to the wide spread love for this man.

Still missing you my friend! I know you are still riding high and keeping all the "Harley's" rolling in heaven!
