Readers and their Rides

Jane O’Hara and Her 1994 Yamaha XJ600S Seca II

Written by  June 29, 2015

You may recognize this month’s featured rider as Jane O’Hara, who was the featured cover model on our March 2015 cover. Jane is not only an accomplished model, but she also rides her own motorcycle.

Below is the information we gathered from Jane, along with some additional information about her awesome bike:

CC: Jane, what is your occupation?
Jane: I’m a UPS night shift truck loader, model, and bikini bike wash girl.

CC: How long have you been riding?
Jane: I started on a dirt bike when I was 12 years old. You can guess how long that’s been.

CC: What was your first bike?
Jane: My first bike was an old orange Honda 90 dirt bike.

CC: How many bikes have you owned?
Jane: I’ve had three bikes.

CC: How many bikes do you own now?
Jane: I have two now. My 1994 Yamaha Seca II 600, and a Honda 80 dirt bike.

CC: What do you like most about your Seca?
Jane: It looks different from everyone else’s, and it’s comfortable to ride.

CC: What is your dream bike?
Jane: A new Indian Scout, like the one I posed with for my cover shoot. It has a tough, sexy look to it.

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?
Jane: My brothers and nephew blasting past me on the highway doing wheelies and leaving me behind. Why…because it was funny.

CC: Thanks for the interview Jane, and thanks for letting us feature you and your bike in this month's issue!
